ichthyologist: Zebra Pleco (Hypancistrus zebra) ‘L046’

There are many plecostomus suckermouth catfishes that science has not yet described. As a result, new discoveries are assigned an ‘L-number’ (in reference to the family Loricariidae) until a new scientific name is described.
